The Bag of Wind

The topic: Describe Odysseus' ecounter with aeolus and the situation leading up to the accident involving Aeolus's bag of wind. Who is the blame fo the accident?

Odysseus’s men were the reason for the situation. They were sailing and landed on a island. They went to go investigate and instead they found Aeolous. Aeolous was the god of the wind, he took the all the wind except the western wind and he put it in a bag. Odysseus had the bag. While they were on the ship Odysseus was sleeping on the boat while his men opened the bag. I think they believe that Odysseus is hiding something from them. So they are curious to see if it's gold or something. There was nothing but wind in the bag. The wind was suppose to blow them straight home. One of Odysseus men tries to stop them but it was too late and the bag gets opened. While the ship is moving all over the place, Odysseus wakens. He finds out that they’re in a totally different place. They were so close and they could see the island Ithica. Odysseus and his men deserve the blame for this. The men should have had trust in Odysseus, their leader. It was also Odysseus fault to. He should of never left the bag unprotected and should of paid close attention to it.
